i'm home at last. nearly missed my flight from london... oops <:D ... i finally got to check in about 20 mins before the plane was due to leave which is basically too late so i had three options. 1) take the next plane but fly in business class--> pay more (and i had no money left) 2) wait at the airport till the next morning 3) run and try to catch the plane. so i ran <:) with my backpack in a trolley... had to take my backpack with me as hand luggage, can you believe that! i think i should get some kind of an award for running late all the time <:)

anyway. no more airport stories. hmmm... my second project was quite nice. the area where we worked, the peak district national park, was very beautiful. our group was also nice although i didn't really get to know anyone so well. everyone was quite normal unlike the people i met in brighton! ;) and i have to say that i had much more fun in brighton! but i'm still glad i took part in both projects, it was a good experience.

after the project in brighton i spent a few days in london. i went to see a musical "the full monty" and a movie "kissing jessica stein" with my cousin. i also spent a few days with a friend of mine who i met in brighton :) and i met one of my danish pen pals, it was cool :)

after the second project i went to london for a week and it was quite nice there... although i started to dislike london more and more during the week... it's too crowded, chaotic (the tube strike they had there as a good example) and expensive... it's also quite boring to be there alone. one day i decided that i had had enough of london so i went to cambridge for a day. quite a nice place! :) not as nice as brighton though ;) i also met my friend from london on the same day i flew back home. so all in all, i'd say i had a brilliant summer!!! :))))))

it's quite weird to be back in finland again. i was away for quite a while... but at least i get to eat rye bread and salmiak as much as i want now! and not marmite <:) i got sick and tired of sandwiches too while i was in the peak park. we always worked quite far away from the place where we stayed at so we just had to make some sandwiches for lunch and take them with us. i don't think i'll be eating white bread for a while... <:)

well, i think i've rambled enough... i'll write more later.
